I’m Henry Walker, the founder, writer, and curator behind Pureluxy.
I started this site in 2024 because I was tired of lifestyle content that felt either unattainably elitist or cynically commercial. I believe luxury isn’t about spending the most money — it’s about knowing what matters, choosing quality over noise, and designing a life that feels intentional rather than accidental.
Pureluxy is my personal notebook made public. Every destination, product, and design principle I write about is something I’ve researched deeply, experienced firsthand, or studied obsessively before publishing.
What I Cover
I write about the corners of life where thoughtfulness pays dividends:

I do not write about medical topics, financial investing, or health supplements. Those require credentials I don’t have. My expertise is in lifestyle curation, design sensibility, and the patient pursuit of quality.
My Approach
I only recommend what I would use myself.
If I write about a hotel, I’ve either stayed there or researched it through verified guest reviews, direct correspondence with the property, and cross-referenced travel industry standards. If I write about a product, I’ve handled it, read the specifications carefully, or consulted people who own it.
I don’t accept payment for positive coverage. When affiliate relationships exist, I disclose them. When I’m uncertain about a claim, I say so.

I’m not a corporation. I’m not a content farm. I’m one person who cares deeply about doing this honestly.
That means:
- I correct errors when readers point them out
